VINTAGE 8-Piece 1961-1962 Ludwig Pre-Serial No. 981 Blue Note Outfit in Red Sparkle w/ Canister Throne and Snare
- Vintage Drum Set.
- Sizes: 14x20, 14x20, 8x12, 8x12, 16x16, 16x18 plus snare and canister throne
- Details & Notes: An immaculate unicorn of a kit! This excellent condition pre-serial Ludwig Blue Note Outfit is straight from the catalog with the exception of factory ordered 20" bass drums and omitted bongos. All heads and pieces are completely original with the exception of the snare drum batter head. Wrap is clean, free of lifts, and vibrant. Chrome has minimal pitting and beautiful gleam. The kit comes with a WFL Snare stand, and a tripod double tom stand for the factory matching 12" toms. Traditionally this set would have come with two 22" bass drums, but the buyer opted for 20" bass drums instead. The buyer also forfeited the bongos that are pictured in the catalog description of the set. The catalog Canister Throne is present, functional, and in great shape. All mufflers work and are present. All drums feature white interiors except for the two bass drums which are natural.
